Brief: Siren
The sound of sirens is the means by which the emergency services make their presence known as they act to control aspects of what we can and can’t do. Following this theme of society being controlled, I related it to myself by creating a government agency that had laws on design. Graphic Design Law has certain rules for typography, paragraph, page layout and the overall aesthetics of design. I generated a pamphlet that would belong to an officer of GDL that would be used when handing out nes to members of society and would grant the o cer the ability to check which section of the law had been broken. Each ne is folded into a small rectangle and wax sealed in an envelope. The details of who has received the ne and which laws have been broken can be found on the inside of the penalty charge notice.
